Paint Correction, Paint Protection & Your Car
Protective coatings add shine and, obviously, protection to your paint, glass, wheels, plastics and more. However, you may not be familiar with the process in applying these Capitol Shine products. It all starts with figuring out if your vehicle has any imperfections in the the paint, such as scratch or swirl marks, after which we can perform a Paint Correction treatment. Why fix the scratches now? A protective coating forms a permanent bond with the paint and would lock in any swirls or scratches, so these imperfections need to first be fixed.
Let's Start with Paint Defects
The truth is, many owners may not even know whether their vehicle requires any paint correction services. At first glance, a car may appear glossy and free of defects. Upon further inspection, however, there can be more than meets the eye. Consider the 2008 AcuraTL type S in the above picture that recently received Capitol Shine's Ceramic Pro. As you will see, it doesn't matter if your car is new or old when it comes to paint correction! When this vehicle first arrived in our shop, we looked it over and inspected it closely. What we found were a number of scratched areas all over the car, which means our paint correction services were needed. Click on any image below for larger version:
